Dr Geyer BSc (Hons), PhD, MBBS (Hons), FRACGP-RG

Dr Geyer moved to the southwest in 2010, having studied Medicine under the newly established graduate entry programme at UWA.
Prior to this she had worked as a Medical Scientist for 10 years at SCGH, RPH and PMH, performing laboratory tests to identify cancers and genetic diseases in patients, as well as performing research into mesothelioma, breast cancer, bladder cancer and prostate cancer.
Having previously built a straw bale house on a five acre property on the outskirts of Perth, the appeal of moving properly to the country was irresistible.
Having lived and worked for a few years as a GP in the Donnybrook-Balingup Shire, and being aware of the unmet need for a GP in Balingup, Dr Geyer then took the step of setting up her own private practice in the town.
When not consulting in the clinic, Dr Geyer can be found performing her other role as Medical Educator - educating trainee GPs within the southwest region.

Dr Chloe Brown, MD

Dr Brown may be familiar to you as she was a medical student with us in 2020, and we are thrilled to have her back as a qualified doctor! She is a tremendous asset and proof that having medical students spend time in rural practices will encourage them to return in the future.
