Dr Geyer BSc (Hons), PhD, MBBS (Hons), FRACGP
Dr Geyer moved to the southwest with her husband and young family in 2010, having studied Medicine under the newly established graduate entry programme at UWA.
Prior to this she had worked as a Medical Scientist for 10 years at SCGH, RPH and PMH, performing laboratory tests to identify cancers and genetic diseases in patients, as well as performing research into mesothelioma, breast cancer, bladder cancer and prostate cancer.
Having built their own straw bale house on their five acre property on the outskirts of Perth, the appeal of moving properly to the country was irresistible for the Geyers.
Having lived and worked for a few years as a GP in the Donnybrook-Balingup Shire, and being aware of the unmet need for a GP in Balingup, Dr Geyer then took the step of setting up her own private practice in the town.
When not consulting in the clinic, Dr Geyer can be found performing her other role as Medical Educator with WA General Practice Education and Training - educating trainee GPs within the southwest region.
Dr Andrew Luc MBBS FRACGP
Andrew grew up in Sydney and obtained his postgraduate medical degree from The University of Notre Dame, Fremantle in 2012. He spent his formative years working in Anaesthetics and Intensive Care before embarking on his journey in General Practice in 2017.
Dr Luc is particularly passionate about metabolic health and seeing his many patients take back control of their diabetes, weight gain and lives.
Even though he has interests in all areas of Medicine, he believes General Practice is much more than reactive treatment, but a tool for changing people’s lives for the better, from young to old.
He considers his greatest strength as always allowing himself to evolve in his understanding of developing ideas in different fields, and being able to incorporate new practices.
In his spare time he enjoys combat sports and teaching his toddler how to be a ninjalino.
Tracy, her husband and two boys moved to Donnybrook in 2006. Tracy has worked as a secretary/receptionist for most of her working life and has worked in legal, Local Government, mining and the waste management industry over the years. While her children were young she owned and operated her own coffee van business, Whole Lotta Latte, which operated in Donnybrook for 5 years. Tracy is enjoying the challenges of working in an industry new to her as a medical receptionist, and loves meeting people.
