Questions for your doctor

If you have a question for your doctor, the best way to receive an answer is to make an appointment to discuss.

In some situations it may be possible to outline your request to reception who may return your call with the requested information once it has been possible to discuss with the doctor. Please note doctors can be extremely busy throughout the day so the return phone call may not be for several hours or even the next day (unless you have booked a phone appointment).

In an emergency life threatening situation the doctor can be interrupted during a consultation for your call to be put through.

 

Repeat prescriptions

Repeat prescriptions for previously prescribed medications may be provided without a doctors appointment, at the doctors discretion. Please leave the details of the medication name and dose with reception, and allow 24 hours to be processed. A fee of $5 will be required to be paid on collection of a prescription without an appointment, or $10 if you request the prescription to be posted to a pharmacy.

You may choose to wait to see the doctor between appointments, in which case you can be bulk billed for prescription repeats.
